In order for Opportunity Two Excel Foundation to be successful, the business must leverage on the experience and insight of the Board, Management and Staff. The firm embraces the organizational leadership model with a leadership team capable of formulating and shaping a coherent vision combined with a management team skilled in implementing and rejuvenating the vision over time. This team is comprised of Directors working closely together as the Governing Board. Each Director has his/her area of specialization. The day to day operations of the firm is coordinated by Director responsible for our core business activities. The management of the NGO is vested in the Governing Board. Board members are nominated and appointed for staggered terms of three years serving a maximum of three successive terms; initial terms are for three, six, or nine years. Opportunity Two Excel Foundation has a total of Fifteen (15) members comprising of Management Team of Five (5) designated as Directors constitute the Top management team, and Six (6) Managers forming the middle – level Management team. One of the Directors, Mrs. Joyce Purnar is the Head of the company’s management team and the Board Chairman. Each of the Directors and the Managers head one of the departments of the Company. |
Number and type of members: |
50 members including volunteers. The Article E. of our constitution says: (1) Membership of the Charity/NGO shall be open to: individual who are interested in furthering the work of the Charity/NGO and there would be no any annual subscription fees to be paid by members and anybody operate or unincorporated association which is interested in furthering the Charity's/ NGO’s work. (2) Every member shall have one vote. Each member organisation shall appoint an individual to represent it and to vote on its behalf at meetings of the Charity/NGO; and may appoint an alternate to replace its representative at any meeting of the Charity/ NGO if the appointed representative is unable to attend Each member organisation shall notify the name of the representative appointed by it and of any alternate to the secretary. If the representative or alternate resigns from or otherwise leaves the member organisation, he/she shall forthwith cease to be the representative of the member organisation The Executive Committee may unanimously and for good reason terminate the membership of any individual concerned or appointed representative of the member organisation concerned (as the case may be) shall have the right to be heard by the Executive Committee, accompanied by a friend before a final decision is made. |
