Mission statement:	Our vision: Creating opportunities for people through affordable housing. Unity is a recognised leader in the provision, management and ownership of community housing, boarding houses and affordable housing. It comprises approximately 25% of the not-for-profit community housing sector in South Australia and is one of a select number of State Government nominated 'Preferred Growth Providers'. Unity is a public company limited by guarantee with charitable status and owns and manages approximately 1,500 homes in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Unity also operates in regional areas including Clare, Murray Bridge and the Fleurieu Peninsula. Over the past three years Unity has undertaken significant development in the area of affordable housing as part of the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) and recently completed the development of many new affordable dwellings in partnership with other organisations and corporates. Unity's focus is to help build a sustainable housing system that provides options for a range of people in our community. We work in a way that makes a positive contribution to the communities that we are a part of. Ensuring that people have a safe, affordable place to live, regardless of their income, is at the core of our business.
