    Year of registration: 2015
    Organizational structure: Members of the NGO Committee on Sustainable Development-NY Board of Directors of which there are four founding members who shall serve until removed by a vote of the majority of the Board of Directors or upon their resignation. Additional directors are elected by a majority of the directors then in office. The number of directors shall be a minimum of three (3). Directors need not be residents of the State of New York. The business and affairs of the NGO Committee on Sustainable Development-NY are managed by its Board of Directors and shall include fundraising. The officers of the Board of Directors shall consist of a President, two Vice Presidents, an Administrative Treasurer and a Recording Secretary. Every four years there are elections of the NGOCSD-NY Executive Board. There is a nomination committee formed to conduct the nomination process from the membership. Following the nomination process the Nomination Committee creates a slate of qualified candidates and there is an election in December of that year at a General Membership Meeting and the vote is with full members of the NGOCSD-NY. The Executive Board consists of a Chair, two Vice Chairs, Treasurer, a Secretary and a Corresponding Secretary plus the Chair Ex-Officio with a minimum of six additional Executive Board members, each of who shall be elected by the General membership. NGOCSD-NY Executive Board members shall be elected for a term of four (4) years or until a successor has been duly elected and qualifies or appointed by the President with the approval of the Executive Board.
    Number and type of members: 139 NGOCSD-NY Members consist of NGOs in Consultative Status with ECOSOC, NGOs associated with the UN Dept. of Public Information or the UN Dept. of Global Communications, Members from universities and colleges including individuals and youth from civil society and organizations interested in supporting the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda to Leave No One Behind.
