Mission statement:	EFHR is non-governmental association registered under the ministry of Social Solidarity with number 8611/2012. The organization aims at the promotion of human rights respect, The right to express opinions and ideas, raising human rights culture amongst citizens, And their freedom to access information, and Freedom of the press and media , supporting women's rights and seeking to reform Egyptian legislations. EFHR monitors the human rights situation in Egypt and defends people against human rights violations regardless of the Identity,affiation, rice or color of the victim. EFHR is guided by the principles estanlished in the Universal Declaration for Human Rights and all other international Insturments

Organizational structure:	The Board of Administration of EFHR is composed of 9 members elected by the members of the General Assembly. The first Board of Administration is appointed by founder members through the General Assembly for a period no longer than 3 years. Membership of the Board of Administration is for the length of its session, 6 years. A third of its members are re-elected by ballot every 2 years to replace those whose membership has ended. Upon the ending of the Board’s session after 6 years the General Assembly convokes the election of a completely new Board of Administration.
