CDA is governed by a five member board of trustees who are eminent citizens elected to provide leadership to the organization, guide its mission and help set its strategic direction. The presence of a strong and well functioning governing board within CDA-Ghana has strengthened its internal democratic and inclusive decision making processes, ensured that resources are well managed, and also safeguards its humanitarian-service orientation. Beneath, the Board is the Management Team headed by the Executive Director who over sees the day to day operations of the Organization. The Executive Director implements the decisions of the board and is accountable to the board. There is also a progarmme Manager who who providers leaders and direction in programme design and implementation. the programme Manager is assisted by project coordinators as well as field officers. The is also the Finance Manager ensures credible and efficient finance manager of the resources of the Organization |

CDA-Ghana has a total 0f 52 members representing various community based organizations, women associations, youth groups as well as people living with HIVLAIDS associations. Membership in CDA-Ghana is voluntary and open to interest individuals and organizations committed to sustainable and inclusive community development initiatives. Besides the member organizations, CDA also has 17 paid staff who are professionals hired to provide specialized services in social mobilization, local capacity building, advocacy and promotion of the human rights of vulnerable groups. |
