Mission statement:	ARDA’s goal is to promote sustainable development in Nigeria and across Africa with culturally competent, audience-centric communication methodologies that fearlessly address root causes, tackle the most relevant and pressing issues, and make lasting positive impacts on beneficiaries. We identify and exploit the most accessible and effective communication channels and creative approaches to reach those in greatest need and to improve the quality of life of all Nigerians. Our mission is to communicate development through the most effective, innovative and interactive programs in line with our vision to be the foremost development communication organization, successful in improving the quality of life of people in all the communities where we work. Our core values of the organization are Integrity, Professionalism, Innovation and Quality. We utilize human-centered program design and management methodologies that put community members and beneficiaries at the forefront of the communication program we design, implement, manage, monitor and evaluate throughout the lifespan of each of our projects. We prioritize advocacy, community dialogue and outreaches organized and led by the community members themselves to promote ownership of each project and ensure long-term sustainability.

Organizational structure:	ARDA is governed by a board of trustees including an Executive Director who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization and oversees the programs, administrative and finance departments. There is also an internal audit/operational compliance department that reports to the board.
Number and type of members:	We are not a membership organization. We employ 13 full-time members of staff and dozens of program associates and consultants on a project basis, around Nigeria.
