The Cyber Institute is organized into two (2) program departments: the Center for Women and Minorities in the Cyber Workforce and the Cyber Risk Research and Policy Institute. The Board and Board of Directors operate at the Cyber Institute level. The NGO Board and Officers define the vision and determine the strategic plan for the organization. The Executive Directors operate at department level. The Executive Directors manage and execute the organization’s plan through the Center for Women and Minorities in the Cyber Workforce and the Cyber Risk Research and Policy Institute. Each of the NGOs departments implements projects in collaboration with affiliated NGOs and/or industry and academic partners to ensure the greatest possible collective impact of efforts. The Center of Women and Minorities in the Cyber Workforce focuses on capacity and capability building for affiliated NGOs as well as industrial and academic partners who serve traditionally underserved populations. The Center also focuses on skill and workforce development for underserved populations to enter into highly compensated and competitive cyber careers towards self-determination and self-sufficiency. The Cyber Risk Research Institute focuses on research towards innovating and increasing the impact of programs for the advancement of women and minorities (youth and young adults in particular) through strategic partnerships, international collaboration and governmental policy advisement & development. The Research Institute also focuses on participating in discourse on increasing global inclusion of peoples in disenfranchised communities by continuously developing opportunities to share published findings with other NGOs and similar serving governmental organizations. |
