    Organizational structure: The Board of Trustees oversees the operations of the Museum, while daily management of the Museum is supervised by its President and Senior Vice Presidents, who meet regularly to discuss planning and issues. They in turn supervise and support Department Chairs, Directors, and Managers of multiple departments and centers. The Senior Vice Presidents are: Senior Vice President for Communications and Marketing; Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Strategic Planning and Education; Senior Vice President and Provost of Science; Senior Vice President for Operations and Capital Projects; and Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
    Number and type of members: The AMNH has 48,192 individual/house members located in 53 countries. The majority of members are based in the United States. The AMNH has 82 corporate members located in the United States. The Museum offers individual, household, and corporate membership programs.
