Conservation International is led by the Chairman’s Office and the Leadership Group. The Chairman's Office and the Leadership Group are supported by the Program Management Group (PMG), the Resource Management Group (RMG), the Operations Management Group (OMG) and the Climate Management Group (CMG). The Chairman’s Office is made up of our Chairman/CEO, President, and COO. It guides the organization and makes decisions regarding the most important strategic and operational issues. The Chairman’s Office considers recommendations from the Leadership Group. The Leadership Group consists of the COO, Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs), Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs), and Field Division Vice Presidents. The Leadership Group ensures alignment of the most strategic and operational issues within the organization. The Leadership Group is informed by and considers the advice of the PMG, RMG, OMG and CMG. Members of the PMG are primarily individuals with programmatic responsibilities. The PMG ensures alignment of programmatic activities, partnerships, and issues across the organization. Members of the RMG are primarily individuals with fundraising or resource expertise and responsibilities. The RMG ensures long-term financial sustainability by aligning fundraising priorities and managing frameworks for effective fundraising. Members of the OMG are individuals managing key operations units and functions. The OMG ensures all global operations functions perform effectively and efficiently. Members of the CMG are subject-area experts from across the organization. The CMG ensures that our Global Initiatives are scientifically and programmatically sound, integrated, and targeted to achieving institutionally important outcomes. Divisions under the above guidance are: Science and Knowledge, Global Initiatives, Field Programs, Ecosystem Finance, Global Outreach, Center for Conservation and Government, and Operations. |
