    Organizational structure: 1. The Board of Trustees and Directors are made of selected leaders, professionals, and experts in the community who share the vision and aspirations of the organization. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the organization calls for the meeting of the board members. The Board of Trustees/Directors is the sole governing body of the organization. The BOTD shall be responsible for • Determining and formulating the organization’s mission and purpose • Selecting the National and International Executive Director • Supporting the executive directors and reviewing his/her performance. • Formulating policies for the smooth management of the entire GIEVA organization. • The Director as the accounting officer of the organization shall report all fund generation matters to the Board of Trustees/Directors. • The Board of Trustees and Directors shall have the sole power to review fund generation policies of the organization as the needs arise. • The Board of Trustees shall delegate the Executive Director the authority to: • Plan and implement all aspects of fund generation for the organization. • Prepare and enter into all agreements with any individuals and organizations making donations to the organization regarding the specification for the use of such donations. • Make policy proposals for the raising of funds in support of the vision and mission of the organization through legitimate and acceptable means. • Create and maintain database for donor individuals, organizations, agencies and all correspondences relating to such donations and full report of its use. • Create and maintain a database for all grants in respect to projects and programs of the organization and full report of the execution of the projects. • Initiate and prepare appropriate MOUs for all mutual relations that support the vision and mission of the organization. • Facilitate annual reviews of Impact Assessment Report of the organization. • Develop and generate empowerment instruments to harness and mobilize the youth for global relevance through easy accessibility to global information. • Evolve educational and cultural exchange programs for productive involvement of the youth with their communities. • Generate collaborative partnership programs with public, private and international agencies for the purpose of linking the youth to global opportunities for empowerment and facilitate the establishment of holistic & affordable health services to rural communities. 2. The management team comprises some members of the BOD and senior staff of the organization. These are the National Director, Regional Directors, and Heads of Department. It is the highest decision making body of the organization and shall be responsible for policy formulations and recommendations for the board of trustees. The Country Director and regional Directors are responsible for the day to day implementation of the policy of GIEVA in the country. The Executive Director as the Chair of the Management Team calls and chairs all management meetings. He also facilitates all organizational meetings. He is delegated the authority to make policy proposals, planning, and implementation of the organization’s policy. He will support the VISION, MISSION, and objectives of the organization. Further, he is responsible for handling the interpretations of these policies, regulations, and rules for the organization.
