Organizational structure: |
SUDA uses a team structure which links the formal and informal group relations that influence change in the community. In this regard, the organization emphasizes interpersonal relations as a determinant of conduct and performance. Therefore, the structure is composed of General assembly, Board of Directors , Secretariat and community/ beneficiaries. |
Number and type of members: |
There are currently 70 full members of SUDA whose membership is open to all people /persons / youths upon payment of membership fee and registration with the Agency.
The full members have the rights and obligations that include;
a) Participate fully in the proceedings and activities of the General Assembly with the voting rights.
b) Elect or be elected into any position in the Agency.
c) Be nominated or selected as representatives in any undertaking of the Agency.
d) Make use of facilities of the Agency as shall be agreed upon by the Board.
e) Be registered in the register of full members in Agency.
f) Defend the constitution of SDA.
The Agency has also 40 Associate members whose rights and obligations are;
a) They can participate fully in the proceedings of Agency without voting rights.
b) They can use the facilities of the Agency as may be agreed upon by the Board.
c) Cannot elect or be elected into any position in the Agency
d) Be registered in the register of members of SDA as Associate members |
