Mission statement:	The purpose of the 2022 Initiative Foundation is to accelerate a sustainable development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, the 2030 Agenda, that was adopted by the UN in 2015 and to stimulate to the creation and co-creation of such sustainable development. The foundation’s resources shall be used to support initiatives for sustainable development with a holistic perspective (includes social, economic and ecological aspects) and that contributes to a better world in a way that provides substantial and verifiable positive impact. The support to the initiatives can be given financially and in other forms. The foundation gives priority to initiatives that builds on crosscutting collaboration, between disciplines, sectors of society, generations and between actors from business, academia, civil society and the public sector. The initiatives can be implemented both in Sweden and internationally. The foundation may also implement initiatives of its’ own. The foundation is independent, and politically and religiously neutral.
