    Organizational structure: Due to the fact that MARTAs board is international it can be independent from the political context in Latvia and thus the strategic perspective can be maintained over MARTAs work in the national and international context. The Board of Directors consists of 4 Elected Members from Norway, Finland, and Latvia. Subordinate to the Board is the Chairman of the Board and the Association manager. Furthermore, the Public Relations Specialist, the Political Coordinator and the Secretary are located in the organizational hierarchy. The Junior programs' coordinator, Social Workers and Financial Managers report to the latter group. The Social Worker's unit includes psychologists, psychotherapists, lawyers and an administrator
    Number and type of members: The 46 members of the organization MARTA are both natural and legal entities. MARTA's members come from different backgrounds united to fight for the same cause. Some of them are well-known in Latvian society, for instance, ex-ministers, European Parliament deputies, artists etc. All of them, women and men alike, are determined to invest in MARTA and support its cause via the networks and societal groups they represent.
