Mission statement:	YERWA FOUNDATION was founded on the principle of creating an enabling environment for displaced Nigerians. YF naturally morphed into creating initiatives such as the Blanket Drive for the harmattan months, distribution of which gave us insight into the daily lives and needs of IDPs within host communities, the exterior Happ spaces initiative, which provided decent and pleasant living surrounding, the ICT teacher Training initiative, which has trained over 100 teachers in all of the local government areas of Borno State with plans to take on more, and lastly, the adopt a school programme,where we have been able to provide water and sanitation in Primary schools in Maiduguri. We hope to expand this programme to Teacher training, learning materials acquisition, school feeding and parent literacy. The main objective here is to create learning environments that would allow children do and be better for their communities, whilst staying true to their roots.

Organizational structure:	Our Organisation runs on the advice of our Advisory board, comprising of seasoned and accomplished professionals. They provide invaluable insight into fund raising, impactful initiative development and implementation strategies. The Board of Trustees are the main drivers and implementation arm of the Organisation. We reply on their passion sense of accountability to propel the implementation of voted in initiatives. Our reporting system means we have indicator led targets that checks each process.
