Considérant la Déclaration Universelle des Droits de l’Homme du 10 décembre 1948 ;
Considérant les autres Textes Internationaux pertinents des droits de l’homme auxquels le Cameroun est parti ;
Considérant la Constitution de la République du Cameroun notamment dans son préambule qui affirme son attachement aux droits de l’homme et reconnaissant que l’être humain sans distinction de race, de religion, de sexe, de croyance, possède des droits inaliénables, sacrés et affirme son attachement aux libertés fondamentales inscrites dans les textes internationaux des droits de l’homme :
-Considérant que la liberté d’association est garantie par les conditions fixées par la loi ;
Au regard de la volonté d’œuvrer ensemble qui caractérise la société civile camerounaise ;
Conscients que c’est par la société civile que s’opèreront de manière efficace la prise de conscience par les citoyens de leurs droits, leurs libertés, et de leurs intérêts, mais aussi de leurs responsabilités dans la mise en œuvre des instruments de promotion et de protection des droits de l’homme et des libertés que c’est en cela que la société civile pourra jouer son rôle de canal de dialogue constructif entre les pouvoirs publics et les citoyens ;
Se fondant sur la volonté déclarée des organisations de la société civile, de ce réunir pour affermir nos force et nos marotte nous avons décidé de mettre sur pied une réseau d’action concertée pour la promotion, protection la défense des droits de l’homme, la protection des défenseurs des droits de l’homme, et les libertés fondamental ;
Nous, membres de la Société civile camerounaise œuvrant dans le domaine des droits de l’homme, décidons de créer un réseau des Organisations des Droits de l’Homme dénommé : « Réseau Internationale des Organisations de Défense des Droits de l’Homme (RIDDH-INTERNATIONAL)
