    Organizational structure: SVIN is a 501c3 non-profit initiative with revenue driven from membership dues revenue, sponsorship (industry partnerships and grants) and donations. SVIN has contracted staff. There are two divisions within SVIN - the Non-Profit Society Division and International Division, which includes MT2020+. The board consists of physicians with expertise in neurology and neurointervention, who help to guide the general activities and projects for SVIN.
    Number and type of members: SVIN has around 600 individual members from around the globe made up of physicians, advance practice providers, researchers, medical support staff, industry, and other members. SVIN has 81 global members, across 6 continents. General activities for SVIN include annual meetings, educational courses, monthly training webinars, research and mentorship for the next generation of clinicians and researchers. Under the four strategic pillars: Outreach & Advocacy, Engage & Grow, Research and Educate, there are 15 committees focused on advancing the mission of SVIN. Ultimately, this society benefits populations worldwide as members work collaboratively and collectively to raise the standards and ensure innovations in stroke care are widely available.
