Mission statement:	Since 2018, the Otraparte Corporation has implemented the project The Right to Not Obey (DANO) understood as a platform that proposes, develops and accompanies citizen advocacy processes to achieve greater and better impacts. We work around four topics of interest: mobilization and peaceful protest, climate crisis (especially in air quality), migration, coexistence and security. In 2018, Tu Bandera es Mi Bandera was born, a citizen campaign with the aim of contributing and encouraging social integration between people from Venezuela and the host communities, through initiatives for awareness and mobilization such as artistic and cultural actions, routes, communication strategies and spaces for conversation open to all citizens. In it, as a sum of the different actions carried out, 86 organizations have participated, 70 conversations have been developed, 24 symbolic demonstrations have been carried out and 9,945 people have mobilized. In addition to achieving a reach in all our social networks of more than 195 thousand people in different parts of Colombia and Latin America for integration. The experience of the campaign is recorded in four reports: How to embrace migrants?, Cultural Takeover for Integration: what unites us has no borders, Cultural Takeover for Integration: Staying Together and Artistic and Cultural Takeover for Integration: Humanity without Borders. As part of our efforts to fight xenophobia, we joined efforts with the Interpreta Foundation and the Migration Observatory of the Externado de Colombia University to create the Xenophobia Barometer. The Xenophobia Barometer is a platform that systematizes, analyzes and disseminates information resulting from the analysis of the conversations on Twitter, web pages and the media about the Venezuelan migrant population. Its objective is to influence social narratives that cause or viralize messages of hatred towards Venezuelan migrants and refugees in Latin America. In 2 years, the Xenophobia Barometer has positioned itself as a benchmark on issues of integration and the fight against xenophobia in Colombia. Our reports have been cited by different media outlets such as CityTV, El Tiempo, Semana, El Espectador, El Colombiano, La Opinion, Cuestión Pública, among others; by opinion leaders such as Daniel Samper, La Pulla, Roman Lozinski, Rodrigo Uprimmy; public officials like David Smolansky and Betica Muñoz from the Organization of American States; and by institutions such as the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the Interagency Group on Mixed Migratory Flows. In all these scenarios, the Xenophobia Barometer was cited as an example of innovation and citizen advocacy to influence negative narratives around Venezuelan migrants. In January 2021, the Xenophobia Barometer won first place in the first version of the “Youth Leadership and Innovation Award for Migration”, created by the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, Unicef and the International Organization for Migration to recognize the leadership and innovation in the face of one of the great challenges of the 21st century. This award was obtained within the framework of the World Summit on Migration and Development, the most important migration event in the world.

Organizational structure:	The CORPORACIÓN FERNANDO GONZÁLEZ - OTRAPARTE was created with the aim of preserving and disseminating the literary legacy of the writer Fernando González Ochoa and converting the Otraparte House Museum into a cultural center with international projection. To achieve these objectives, it is necessary to have a work team that directs and manages the available resources with austerity and transparency. Currently, the Corporation has the following bodies: General Assembly, Board of Directors, Executive Director, Administrative and Financial Manager and 4 management units, among which is the team of The Right to Not Obey (DANO), in charge of all international cooperation projects of the Corporation. The Right Not to Obey works through a Staff made up of 3 Directorates (General Directorate, Mobilization Directorate and Projection Directorate) and 3 Coordination Units (Communications Coordination, Impact and Community Evaluation Coordination and Administrative Coordination). In addition, there is a Coordination for each city in which we have a presence and for each project that we execute. In total, currently, 30 people, mostly young people, and among whom are migrants from different Latin American countries, make The Right to Not Obey.
