Mission statement:	IAH Aims: "Publish-We publish Hydrogeology Journal,two book series, electronic and printed newsletters and other occasional publications. Promote-international co-operation among hydrogeologists and others with an interest in groundwater and sharing knowledge across geographical and political borders was one of the IAH's original purposes and is still one of our main aims. Encourage-The worldwide application of hydrogeological skills through education and technology transfer programmes. Sponsor-international meetings, including an annual Congress. Co-operation-IAH works with agencies in the UN system, especially UNESCO, FAO, IAEA and the World Bank, with other water-related NGOs, and is a member of the World Water Council. IAH is also affiliated to the International Union of Geological Sciences."
