Purpose: | The Association is committed to social justice, gender equity, the advancement of the rights of the individual and the family, free and informed choice regarding the number and spacing of children and contraception, and to prepare young people for healthy attitudes and behavior. We achieve these goals through advocacy, information, networking and demonstration of quality care services. |
Illustrative Project: | MFPA in collaboration with the University of Connecticut, Center for International Community Health Studies, and the Institute for Community Research in the USA, conducted a study on Young Women, Work and AIDS-Related Risk Behavior in 1993 among 51 industries. |
