| Purpose: | To promote unity among student organizations in Africa; to seek equal access to education for university autonomy; to promote in Africa institutional and cultural exchange programmes; to promote social, economic and political equality. |
| Illustrative Project: | November 17, 1997 Accra, Ghana, the Union organized a seminar on gender sensitization; training of poor counselors on AIDS prevention (80 Students); monitoring students' rights violation in Africa; assistance to refugee students (counseling, financial assistance); environmental awareness activities; setting up of refugee students' organization in Ghana; organizing workshops on conflict resolution in Africa. |
