| Purpose: | ZARD aims to uplift the status and position of women through action-oriented, participatory, gender-sensitive research, advocacy, networking, and information dissemination. |
| Illustrative Project: | ZARD runs a computerised, project-oriented Women's Resource Centre and Library. The Centre houses a collection of over 5,000 volumes, newsletters, newpaper clippings on the situation of women, a valuable collection of unpublished papers including speeches, research documents, reports on seminars and conferences, and an extensive collection of women's periodicals from all over the world. |
