Affiliation with other organizations: Completing report " Tools for Alleviating Extreme Poverty and Hunger through Rehabilitation of Sustainasble environments" with intergovernmental: Environment Canada and NGOs: Tsu Chi Foundation,Medical Mission Sisters, NIEP and the University of Melbourne, and Noble International University.

Affiliation with other organizations: We are working with community organizations in a Canada Status of Women sponsored program on"Forced Marriage". We were able to convey information on this study to the Australian Womens groups at the recent UN/DPI-NGO conference in Melbourne.

Forests

Major group affiliation: Forest Business and Industry
Affiliation with other organizations: As mentioned above we are writing a major report on "Tools for Eliinating extreme Poverty and Hunger" through rehabilitation of Renewabbkle Environments." A major section of this report involves the prevention of desertification and recovery of forest and woodlands. This report involves the cooperation of numerous NGOs and Governmental and Intergovernmental agencies. Expected publicationdate and submission to UN is January 2011.
Affiliation with UN bodies: This workshop was proposed for the 2010 UN GeneralAssembly side event. Is being completed by bilateral conferences.
