| Purpose: |
To develop the mechanism through which interaction among African women entrepreneurs can be promoted; to network economically to bring about exchange of visits, training and skill development, transfer of technologies, and dissemination of market information to promote intra-African and inter-continental trade; to link informal rural productive sectors and formal business sectors. |
| Illustrative Project: |
The Federation co-hosted the first Global Women Entrepreneurs Trade Fair and Investment Forum and works closely with UNDP, UN/OSAA, and UN/ECA to strengthen African women entrepreneurs. |
