Office of the Special Adviser on Africa

Purpose: To respond to the needs of the communities and those of their children with a primary objective of improving the quality of life of those in need (extreme poverty, destitution, oppression, deprivation and austerity).
Illustrative Project: Development projects in eight primary schools scattered in five different districts (Nakuru, Baringo, Koibatek, Laikidia and Machakos) in Kenya. Except Misakwami Primary School in Machakos, where we implement a Group Sponsorship Programme (GSP), all other schools have both child sponsorship and group sponsorship programmes. Supplied school desks to Tumaini School in tank in Misakwani School, supplied textbooks and a national flag to Iling'arva School in Baringo and put up three classrooms in Mugurini-Koibater.
