| Purpose: |
To establish a formal, consultative and coordinating body which will endeavor to promote and support member organizations' needs on a collective basis; to serve as a forum for maintaining, sharing and exchanging information of NGO activities, past, present and planned, and making this information accessible to all interested parties. |
| Illustrative Project: |
CANGO produces a regular newsletter known as NGO NEWS which is read by many NGO donor agencies, Governments, and the general public. This publication is used as a forum to share information on current events and new projects by member NGOs. From the Secretariat, the newsletter carries announcements for staffs of NGOs. |
