| Purpose: |
CNA's purpose is to facilitate information exchange and analysis of issues with the aim of strengthening Africa's many voices, at local, national and international fora in the area of climate change, ozone depletion and desertification. CNA's overall aim is to improve the chances of environmentally sustainable and socially equitable development in Africa. |
| Illustrative Project: |
CNA has published a book on "Potential impact of Climate Change in Kenya" for educational institutions, NGOs and research organizations in Kenya. The purpose of the book is to provide a simple overview on climate change. It attempts to disseminate the existing information on climate change which will go a long way in sensitizing policy-makers, researchers and scholars on the issue of climate change and the need to undertake systematic research and formulate relevant policy responses to the threat of climate change. |
