The telecentre network of the Amazon is integrated into a global initiative that seeks, through technology and thanks to the Internet, to develop capacities that contribute to the development of people and their communities. CEDRO has 42 telecentres in operation, with activities such as: teleconferences, digital literacy modules, guided access to the Internet and financial inclusion for women. Financial inclusion of women: The objective is to contribute to economic development as well as to promote better quality of life for women in alternative development areas. 4,950 women have been trained in the modules of financial education and entrepreneurial skills, which now have tools for better economic management of their homes and businesses |
