The pastoral Communities Empowerment Programme represent the pastoralists indigenous people of Kenya living in North Rift of Rift valleyprovince Kenya. Indigenous peoples the organization is representing are marginalized by the Government . At the same time women in these communitiesare more marginalized . These peoples have been denied the right to access and benefit the natural resources in their teritories and government policies are not friendly to their way of life. The community is approximately 324,000 in popilation. |
