Affiliation with other organizations: People living in urban informal settlement(Slums):Currently we are working with other partners to ensure that a policy framework is put in place before the proposed Slum Upgrading Programme by the Government of Kenya. The indigenous Maasai Community: Currently the Maasai of Kenya are facing a challenge in Kenya due to the proposed Nairobi Metropolitan Strategy(Kenyan's Government Vision 2030) which proposes to convert all the Masaai Land into a metropolis with urban and commercial setting. This will greatly affect the livilihoods of this unique indigenous community whose livelihood is majorly pastoralism. As an organisation we are supporting the Maasai to voice their fears regarding the government strategy through media campaigns since the government is determined to go ahead with the proposed strategy citing the need for the indigenous to adopt the modern life and shed the 'retrogressive' livelihood with the claim that it cannot stand the test of time.
