| Purpose: |
WHON's aim is to work with women's groups, and other community based organizations to strengthen their capacity to identify and address women and adolescents health problems. WHON also aims at advocating and promoting the rights to health, lifecycle and integrated approach to women and adolescent health at all levels. |
| Illustrative Project: |
Ibaah Health Care and Development Project (IHDEP) women's group sought assistance from WHON. WHON set to work in collaboration with the group, started by providing them with leadership training on effective leadership, communication, group management, and other skills that will enhance the group activities. Their training as volunteer health workers has equipped them to provide information and care on reproductive health for members of their community. |
