If yes, explain in detail: Mr. Amir Dossal, Executive Director of the UN Office of Partnerships, is Chairman of the IDP Rising Schools International Advisory Board. Additionally, the Co-Founder and Chair of the IDP Foundation, Inc. (Mrs. Irene Pritzker) has been invited to participate in various UN conferences including the ECOSOC, DESA, UNOP, UNIFEM, and CECP special event ‘Engaging Philanthropy to Promote Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment’ where she joined a panel discussion.
Affiliation with other organizations: Opportunity International: Opportunity is a pioneer in offering small business loans, savings, insurance, and training in basic business practices to women and men living in chronic poverty. The IDP Foundation has partnered with Opportunity International to combine efforts to proliferate education in Ghana through microfinance and capacity building. Sinapi Aba Trust: Sinapi Aba Trust is Ghana’s premier microfinance organization, serving over 100,000 clients in each of Ghana’s ten regions with a loan portfolio of $20 million. IDP Foundation partners with Sinapi Aba Trust to implement the IDP Rising Schools program using microfinance loans and specialized training for school proprietors, teachers, and caterers. Dignitas Project and Premier Credit: IDP Foundation partnered with Dignitas Project and Premier Credit to launch the Ongoza Program in 2022. With an initial commitment of three years, the program is focused on improving quality and learning outcomes in non-formal schools through a combination of financial support, school leadership training, and improving teachers’ ability to deliver Kenya’s Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). Dignitas Project provides continuous professional development support to teachers and instructional leaders on classroom culture, learner engagement, and instructional leadership in Kenya. IDP Foundation’s initial investment of USD $1.6m was met with an even larger contribution of USD $2m in private financing from Premier Credit.

However, they include: - IDP Rising Schools program: To transform the lives of impoverished children by providing them with a quality education in both urban and rural areas of Ghana through the combination of microfinance loans and capacity building services that are specifically tailored to the needs of our target schools. - Ongoza Program: In partnership with Dignitas Project and Premier Credit, this program is focused on improving quality and learning outcomes in non-formal schools through a combination of financial support, school leadership training, and improving teachers’ ability to deliver Kenya’s Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). In addition to international support, the IDP Foundation funds medical research to support research scientists at Northwestern University.
