Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: We are looking for an International Organization to support us
Publications: We do not have any publication at this time
Purpose of the organization: Giant Care is involved in capacity building of rural poor women and youth groups by creating low paid jobs e.g. street sweepers, masonries and so forth. We help the poor rural communities to help themselves.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: What we have: Our Present Strengths: • We have 5 Trainers / two in savings and Business Management Skills and three in masonry works. • We have a land of 10 acres that can be used to build up training classes and trainers offices. • We have engaged in township garbage services provider with Bukombe District Council where under this program 100 women and 150 women have been employed • We have engaged in masonry works where under this program 20 youths have been employed. • We have a geographical outreach/coverage of Bukombe District.
