Social Development

Purpose of the organization: To improve the health and socio-economic status and marginalized people in Ghana through Public Health education, good sanitation campaign, civic engagements on education improvement and protection of the environment including water bodies, capacity building and empowerment and public interest advocacy for the voiceless and participatory innovative programmes in collaboration with MDAs, CSos and thereby empowering communities sustainable development. Philosophy AMPA believes in empowerment accountability, transparency, participation and mutual respect. AMPA links up with civil Society Organization through networking and coalition building.

Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: The organization comprises of a 5 membership board and and a management staff of 6 and 60volunteers. The board formulates policies for the advancement of the organization and approves annual budgets for the implementation of planned activities. The staff is responsible for project implementation, social mobilization, planning and execution of project activities.
