| Purpose: | Public policy and community welfare initiatives, research, publications and training, planning education and planning services, environmental education and advocacy, participatory development and governance, poverty alleviation, gender issues and information exchange. |
| Illustrative Project: | In the area of poverty eradication, we mobilised rural communities in Rivers State to form co-operative societies which enabled them access credit for various micro-economic projects; especially in the area of agro-processing. The projects provided employment for women and youths and rendered economic services to the communities. |
