| Purpose: | To monitor provincial parliament; assessing legislation and policy drafting,to assure transparency and effectiveness; to disseminate information on the above through booklets and manuals to a network of NGOs; to build capacity of civil society through training programmes, to lobby Government, draft submissions, and to do advocacy work. |
| Illustrative Project: | Production of a plain language version of rules and provincial laws to be distributed among members of a provincial legislature and NGOs needing to interact with the legislature. This publication is designed to enhance the capacity of the members, which comprise politicians and community activists unfamiliar with the parliamentary system. |
