| Purpose: | Our mission is to unify all Catholic women in Tanzania for the promotion of their contribution towards development in society. |
| Illustrative Project: | The WAWATA credit scheme has reached or benefited 6,000 women; It organized six zonal country-wide AIDS training programmes for 180 trainers. In the 1980s WAWATA had a hostel catering for refugees from the region. We participated in the International Conference on People's Participation in Development, Arusha, February 1990. |
