| Purpose: | To lobby and advocate for women's human rights in Africa. |
| Illustrative Project: | In 1994 our femicide project - in which research was done on the extent of deaths caused by violence against women. This research was coordinated by WILDAF and was carried out in Southern Africa. The result was a publication entitled 'The Private is Public'. Also produced were quilts in memory of women known and unknown who had died at the hands of men. |
