ZACRO provides support and rehabilitation to prisoners, victims of crime, prisoners' families, and ex-offenders. ZACRO recommends to government penal reforms and observance of treatment of offenders within Zimbabwe. |
| Illustrative Project: |
The Community Service Scheme in Zimbabwe - This is a non-custodial sentencing system which allows the offender and the community to live in harmony. The schemes also involved in prison population reduction and at the same time training the individual in skills and self-sufficiency, conducting income generating projects in prisons, and providing strategic data on crime in Zimbabwe. |
