| Purpose: |
To bring together people of diverse backgrounds to unite them in the YMCA movement, which is able to respond to the challenges the Zimbabwean society is currently facing; to identify and develop the capacity of the YMCA and its members to be responsible individual and community leaders; to build and sustain local partnerships. |
| Illustrative Project: |
Child supplementary feeding schemes (30 000 beneficiaries); water and sanitation programmes (500); vocational and training skills training (3000 trainees); youth training and job creation (1000 participants); child care programmes; establishment of a development fund for self-reliance. |
