| Purpose: | SAfAIDS was established in 1994 to help strengthen capacity in the sub-region to understand and effectively address the socio-economic impact of AIDS and to promote HIV prevention. |
| Illustrative Project: | Amongst other activities, we are also involved in policy development, information dissemination, primary and secondary research, as well as advocating for targeted research that feeds into effective programme development. |
