| Purpose: | KADDF, a district-wide non-governmental organization offer the most viable institution framework for addressing the pervasive problems of poverty in the post war area. It articulates and decides upon the development priorities of the district. A clearinghouse for outside agencies interested in carrying out programmes in the district. |
| Illustrative Project: | Peace sensitization in Kailahun district, participants were selected, including paramount chiefs, the district council officials, CDF and RUF representatives. Resource persons from KADDF and the larger community came together to decide on sensitization strategy. Funding agencies such as NCDDR, UNAMSIL, etc. are approached for financial support. Meetings held in various towns about the importance of disarmament and total peace. |
