To promote and protect human rights; to build a concerted voice of advocacy for human rights organisations and issues; to create appropriate network among Sierra Leonean human rights groups; to develop the culture of human rights. |

Participated in voter education and election monitoring in 2001-2002; undertaken sensitization for traditional ruler on the truth and reconciliation process in Sierra Leone; produce/publish annual human rights reports; organized training program for local human rights defenders; provided legal assistance to people who cannot afford costs |
