| Purpose: |
To establish, maintain and conduct this association as an organizational base for secretaries of Old Mutual; to develop, direct and execute projects of professional and educational development; to encourage professional and self-development through seminars and social activities; to update the standard and professionalism of secretaries at Old Mutual; to meet regularly for reasons of common interest such as broadcasting knowledge, enhancing skills, sharing experience and networking. |
| Illustrative Project: |
We have made a difference by collecting old clothes, blankets and food for various charities; assited the Cape Town Drug Centres by collecting money for them; educated women in the importance of knowing some form of self-defense, as crime against women has increased tremendously. Our members have kept up to date on issues and topics of importance to their role in Old Mutual as well as change/development occuring in the company so that at all times they are made to feel the importance of their role. |
