Office of the Special Adviser on Africa

Purpose: To minister to those in need. Our specific orientation is to girls and women but also include family members. We are committed to human and spiritual moral upliftment for all and to their integral development. We are involved in the promotion of reconciliation, justice and peace.
Illustrative Project: We help HIV/AIDS patients. We organize and attend to: Support groups: sharing and counseling; healthcare workers: visits occupational therapy - mainly in food production and gardening; medication: drug dispensary, nursing care by care givers; food: attention to balanced diet and food parcels; children: help with school fees (if we have donors); children's HIV/AIDS: Orphans (under 7 years); daily care at centre. Food given, play therapy, pre-school and basic education; help to procure birth certificates. For parents and grandparents, help to obtain children's grants (if available); assist with the dying process; counselling, praying, help with funeral expenses.
