| Purpose: | To promote an environmentally sound and sustainable development of rural youth, children and women in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa; to provide skills aquisition, job creation and environmentally sustainable enlightment for development. |
| Illustrative Project: | Skills aquisition/training of 100 rural youth drawn from over 7 communities within 3 States of Nigeria (Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa). This training involved skills aquisition in carpentry, soap making, cloth weaving, modern methods of farming for improved yields, craft works, and computer skills. This is aimed towards sustainable self-employment, job creation and self-reliance among women and youth. |
