| Purpose: | Empowerment of women for gender equality. |
| Illustrative Project: | New Acts are being drafted and passed in the democratic South Africa. WDF engaged women in the development of the Land Act; ran workshops in many rural areas to discuss the proposal by Government; got women to contribute to this and sent their submissions; attended the hearings and made final inputs to ensure that the final Act is gender sensitive. Followed the same process with the Act on Local Government. |
