| Purpose: |
To ensure the socio-economic uplifting of all women in South Africa, including the girl-child; to watch over legislation of concern to women, children and the family; to alleviate violence and abuse; to empower women and safeguard their interests, health and well-being. This is attained through networking, training and advocacy work services at grassroots level which have been approved and have the support of communities, facilitating women's action, mediating on behalf of women, and working closely with governmental, private and non-private governmental structures. |
