| Purpose: | To work with individuals, families and communities to improve their social, economic and political development; to build capacity and improve the home economics profession; to improve household food security; education, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS; to advocate and lobby for land reforms with the common goal of securing a land bill responsive to women's needs. |
| Illustrative Project: | Needs assessment on land issues in 12 villages on the national land policy and land bill. TAHEA worked with 7 other NGOs in a gender task force on the land bill. |
