| Purpose: |
To collect findings on problems of farmers; to organize rural residents around income generating projects, to organize sales of farming products; to foster harmony between small farmers and their environment; to offer training on leadership and to increase awareness. |
| Illustrative Project: |
Strengthening the organization's capacity to finance itself; providing logistical and technical support to small farmers in agriculture and livestock farming projects (35 families participated in this project); training of 20 trainees per year in modern farming techniques; reforestation of mountain-sides; solving firewood problems. |
