Office of the Special Adviser on Africa

Purpose: To educate responsible young people who know their duties to society; to advance the presentation of the interests of African youth on a global level; to enhance cooperation with other youth organizations in all six continents; to foster cultural exchanges and share information with non-African youth.
Illustrative Project: 36 established branches in African countries, 16 branches in other parts of the world; intervention and activities in areas of conflict; research and documentation; dissemination of information; organization of debates, workshops; seminars and conferences; lobbying and advocacy; cooperation with the OAU Human Rights Commission and organization of an extraordinary session in Kampala on human and people's rights in Nigeria.
